من اجل استحداث معيار جديد وحديث للحصول على مواصفة قياسية لابد من وجود عينة يستند عليها ،لذلك اخذت عينة متكونة من (500) فتاة عراقية ضمن الفئة العمرية (40-19) سنة ،واجري عليهن اخذ القياسات الجسمية المقتصرة على (19) قياساً جسمياً متمثلة بقياسات (المحيطات ،الاعراض ، الاطوال) ومن ثم حصر تلك القياسات بشكل متوسطات قياسية يستحصل عليها عن طريق عملية الاستكمال الخطي ،وذلك بعد تنقية المشاهدات المدروسة من القيم القصوى والشاذة عن طريق الغصن – الورقة المعروفة بـ (المستكشف) واستخراج الحدود الدنيا والعليا والمتوسط المشذب ، ومن ثم تقدير القيم لبناء مقياس (المتوسطات القياسية) استخدمت لاستكمال بناء جدول نظام الترميز المعتمد على نظام الرقم العشري لتمثيل القيم وهو مجرد تسمية وليس العدد الحقيقي الذي يمثله القياس للكشف عن حجوم تلك البيانات عن طريق سلسلة من الارقام بشكل يشار فيه الى التدرج الرمزي للبيانات ولغرض تأكيد النتائج وصدق الاداة كان لابد من رسم الانموذج الاساس للمتوسطات القياسية المستحصل عليها بوساطة الحاسوب الآلي وستكون هذه الخطوة التمهيدية لاستحداث كم وكم من تصاميم الملابس النسائية الجاهزة
